Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Inauguration | SREC

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as the prestigious Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador (MLSA) program at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College prepared to inaugurate and induct the new office bearers. The event was nothing short of a remarkable beginning, signifying a new chapter in the journey of these young tech enthusiasts. The program was graced by the presence of the esteemed Dr. M. Jagadheeshwari, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, who honored us as the chief guest. The evening commenced with the soulful rendition of "Tamil Thai Vazhthu," celebrating our rich cultural diversity and heritage. The lighting of the 'Kuthuvilaku,' a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment, added an aura of tradition to the event, casting a warm glow over the gathering.




Bharathkumar. G, a 2nd-year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering and a proud member of the MLSA program took the stage for the welcome address. His words resonated among the audience as he spoke of the importance of community building, knowledge sharing, and the boundless potential ahead. The moment we had all been waiting for arrived as Dr. M. Jagadheeshwari delivered the presidential address. Her words were not just inspiring; they were a guiding light for the aspiring technologists present in the room. She shared her wisdom and insights into the world of technology, reminding us of the immense responsibility that comes with being a part of such an esteemed program.


The excitement continued to build as the new office bearers were presented with their batches, marking the official beginning of their leadership roles within the MLSA program. The pride and enthusiasm in the room were contagious as these emerging leaders were introduced. A photo session captured the essence of the event, immortalizing the unity, the promise, and the shared dreams that we collectively nurture as part of this dynamic community.


As we looked back at the journey so far, Mr. S. Praneet, the former MLSA Community Lead, took over the podium and provided valuable insights about the remarkable journey of the program. He touched upon the significant events and achievements, painting a picture of the rich history that MLSA carries with it. Continuing the trip down memory lane, Ms. Jayapriyadharshini, the former Technical Lead, offered a detailed description of the ethos and values that define MLSA. Mr. Harisrevatcha, a third-year student of computer science engineering and former web development team lead, gave an inspiring talk on the latest technological insights. He spoke passionately about the ever-evolving tech industry and the need to stay updated and adaptable in this dynamic field. The event reached its pinnacle when the newly appointed leads took the stage to share their thoughts on their past performances and visions for the future. Their speeches were a testament to their dedication and commitment to advancing the MLSA program.



As the evening drew to a close, Hema.T, the Technical Lead of MLSA, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. Her words encapsulated our gratitude towards all the attendees, well-wishers, and supporters who had joined us on this momentous occasion.
