NECESSITY-DRIVEN TRIUMPH: PSG-MAXBYTE'S INDUSTRY 4.0 HACKATHON VICTORS
Victory comes in response to a need, not desire. You have to create the need, and here is an incident involving some of those people who created that need. Recent winners of the 'Industry 4.0 Hackathon' conducted by the PSG Institute of Technologies and Maxbyte Technologies have made the Department of Electronics and Communication proud. The profound winners of the competition are Joshika S- II ECE A, Jeeva Meena U- II ECE A, Jananisri T- II ECE A under the guidance of Dr.M.Jagadeeshwari (HoD/ECE) and Mrs.S.Saranya (AP/ECE). The event began last year in October, and the first round took place online. The Hackathon was based on Predictive maintenance of machinery. The event lasted for about 6 months, during which many seminars and webinars were conducted by Maxbyte Technologies. Proof of concept was submitted at the end of the competition, and the winners were announced. Maxbyte Technologies has also seemed to have provided internship opportunities to the winners. The team bagged a total of Rs.1 lakh and looks forward to developing their solution. Inspiration is temporary; learn to have a mindset.
