Robofiesta 2K23
The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as students, Professors, and experts from various fields gathered at the National Level Technical Symposium Robofiesta 2K23. This remarkable program was conducted by the Department of Robotics and Automation on March 16, 2023. Epic planning and preparation were made by the Robotics and Automation Association, which included both Technical and Non-Technical events.
Our honourable chief guest, Mr.Vasanthakumar J., Senior Manager Control - Robotics & Simulation, HIROTEC INDIA Private Limited, gave a phenomenal speech about the future of Robotics that threw light on the various skills that need to be developed. This symposium was an amalgam of intellectual curiosity and passion, as experts from diverse fields gathered to exchange ideas and engaged in thought-provoking discussions. The young minds of the aspirant engineers were ignited by their resounding speeches.
Students from various places showcased their performance in various competitions. Some technical events comprised paper presentations, circuit war, crack the code, line follower, and car modeling. For the first time ever since the inception of the Department of Robotics and Automation, a Robot Sumo event was featured. It gained a massive audience by illuminating a threshold experience. Non-technical events like online games, histrionics, hidden treasure, and wrangle (debate) were conducted.
The auspicious banner of Robofiesta 2K23 rolled down from the top of our G-Block, and right at that moment, the proud feeling of being budding robotic engineers coursing through our beings made the day spectacular. Students were recognized and awarded for their exemplary participation in the event. Enormous support was provided by members of the faculty, and the efforts of the students made this symposium a grand success.
