It's been a transformative experience for us biomedical engineers, shifting our focus from the traditional hospital-centric viewpoint to a whole new dimension of healthcare to the often-overlooked struggles of healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, who play a vital yet sometimes underappreciated role on the front lines of patient care. As we embrace this new perspective, we're inspired to think innovatively and collaboratively, recognising the interconnectedness of all healthcare stakeholders. This isn't just a shift in mindset—it's a thrilling leap into a world where every voice is heard, every challenge is met with ingenuity, and every individual contribution shines on the grand stage of healthcare innovation.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the visionaries who made this journey possible: the esteemed convenors, the dynamic duo, Dr. B. Sharmila, Head of our Department and Dr. Ester John, Dean cum Principal of Ganga Institution of Health Sciences. Special thanks also to the tireless organising secretaries of both institutions, whose dedication transformed mundane learning into an interactive odyssey of discovery.

With every technological leap and every vigilant measure in materiovigilance, we inch closer to a world where patient's safety is not just a priority but a fundamental principle guiding every aspect of care, along with the lethal consideration of the frontline and backline workers. As we continue to embrace innovation and advocate for rigorous standards, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to harnessing the power of technology to elevate healthcare for all. Together, we can build a future where advanced clinical care devices not only heal but inspire confidence, trust, and, ultimately, better outcomes for every patient!
