TREFRAKETEN
The 11th Edition of the symposium Trefraketen was organized by the students from The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at national level.
Tremendous effort and tireless preparation went into orchestrating this unmatchable event which turned out to be a significant milestone in our history. Conducted on 10th March 2023, The National Level Technical Symposium turned out be a triumphant one.
The world's first aircraft by the Wright brothers which was a monumental achievement in the aviation sector was modelled by the students of Aeronautical Engineering and turned out to be a fabulous one, which was a pristine reflection the event's vision.
The inauguration carried out in the IT seminar hall lit up the morning and turned out to be a fantastic one as planned. Our proud and renowned alumni Dr Gokul Prassad from the first batch of the Aeronautical Department was welcomed with fanfare as our chief guest. His speech dotted with nuggets of his rich experience mesmerized everyone. Mr Thinakaran, an instructor at Air Works also joined as a guest of honor to share his wonderful knowledge in the aviation field.
The Trefraketen banner was unfolded by our alumni and captured using a drone camera to enlighten the events that followed.

- CAD Modelling
- Artistry
- Kayiti
Stalls were kept near the Aircraft Hangar to enrich the symposium more.
The symposium garnered an enthusiastic response in the form participants from different colleges, which added more flair and dash to the event. The winners of each event were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. Organizers from The Department of Aeronautical Engineering's captured everyone's attention with their exceptional skills.
The event forged a beautiful bond between the students within the department and also effected relationships with participants from other colleges. Trefraketen 11th edition turned out to be a roaring success and lived up to its tagline "DRIFT YOUR WINGS".
