The art of blending cognitive skills and practical expertise coupled with recurrent trials of tasks portrays one’s potential to the peak. Gain the skills at your tips; grab the success at your toes, which has been elegantly exemplified by our students at “IDEATHON 6.0,” an intra-college competition. BRITENY R and DARSHINI J of II-Year, along with their mentor, Mrs. C. Kavitha, Associate Professor/AI&DS, all together were frozen within the clips of cameras by holding the honour with happiness, bagging the first prize for the project “AI PACEMAKER”. Their innovation that acquaints AI to control irregular heart rhythms made us to be lost in the power of imagination. Their actions stand as a perfect example for every budding student that the finest persons found on the first rows are the ones who fine-tune their knowledge every single day in a million little ways.
The platform of life is always fascinating in that it provides the right set of circumstances to evince our endowments to this outside world in order to bring some impacts that really matter a lot to this society.
Yet again, the ingenious minds of SREC unveiled their prowess at the “NATIONAL LEVEL DESIGN HACKATHON 2023”. Their innovation emphasized the salience of safety on roads. The team members DARSHINI J(II- AI&DS), HARIHARAN A(II- CSE), RITHICK P(I-R&A), SUDHEESH V(I-CSE), and PRAKASH K(I- CSE) guided by our esteemed mentors Dr .I. Indusoodan, Associate Professor/English(Uyir Club) and Dr. R. Kesavasamy, Associate Professor/Physics(NSS) all worked in unison to bring out their calibers on to the stage. The event took place on November 18th and 19th, 2023, and the award ceremony was held on January 23rd, 2024, in which they reached out as first-runner in the UG/PG Category Tamil Track in Design, earning INR 5000 as a cash prize. Their victory depicts that anything would be possible if you think you can! Knowing that there is no substitute for hard work and striving for the best with perseverance defines our identity. It’s good to keep chasing your burning desires until you shine at your dream destination!
