The Center for Continuing Education and the
Department of Nano Science and Technology have collaboratively organized a
three days Skill Enhancement workshop on "Wet Chemical Synthesis of Nanomaterials"
scheduled from 25-09-2023 to 27-09-2023. The program features resource persons namely
Dr. Moorthi Pichumani, Professor and Head; Dr. R. Pandeeswari,
Assistant Professor; Dr. S. Thangamani, and Dr. A. Mahalakshmi, Post-Doctoral
Fellows from the Department of Nano Science and Technology. These experts have
shared their profound knowledge in the field of Wet Chemical methods and
Nanomaterials, incorporating practical, hands-on sessions and engaging
activities.
About
Course
The course "Wet Chemical Synthesis of
Nanomaterials" is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive
grasp of nanomaterials and the associated wet chemical synthesis techniques.
Throughout this program, participants will acquire both theoretical knowledge
and practical proficiency in the synthesis and manipulation of various
nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanorods, and nanowires. Furthermore,
the syllabus intends to acquaint participants with the fundamental principles,
methodologies, and real-world applications of wet chemical synthesis. By the
course\'s conclusion, participants will be well-prepared to apply their newfound
expertise in the realms of nanomaterials and wet chemical synthesis, enabling
them to actively engage in research and development initiatives and explore the
