The Cyber Law Awareness Program was organized to educate participants about the legal aspects of cyberspace and promote responsible digital citizenship. The session focused on creating awareness of cyber laws, cyber ethics, online safety, and the legal consequences of cybercrimes. Participants gained insights into the provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 (as amended), digital privacy, data protection, cyber fraud, identity theft, online harassment, and social media regulations.
Through real-world case studies and interactive discussions, the program highlighted common cyber threats, legal remedies, reporting mechanisms, and best practices for safe online behavior. Participants also learned about the rights and responsibilities of internet users, the importance of protecting personal information, and the role of cybersecurity in ensuring a secure digital environment.
The program enhanced participants\' awareness of cyber laws, encouraged ethical use of technology, and empowered them to recognize, prevent, and respond to cyber incidents responsibly.
