• Mrs. S. Kanmani and Mrs. V. Muthulakshmi conducted an informative session on “Introduction to Power BI: Turning Data into Insights” for the students of Nanjiah Lingammal Polytechnic College on 28.01.2026, organized by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC).
• The session introduced participants to the fundamentals of Microsoft Power BI and demonstrated how raw data can be transformed into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and visual reports. The resource persons explained key concepts such as data import, data cleaning, visualization techniques, dashboard creation, and report sharing. Through live demonstrations and practical examples, students gained hands-on exposure to creating charts, graphs, KPIs, and business intelligence dashboards for effective data-driven decision-making.
• The session enhanced participants\' understanding of modern data analytics tools and highlighted the significance of Power BI in business intelligence, reporting, and real-world data analysis applications.
