Membership is open to all the Faculty, Staff, Research Scholars and Students of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

Holidays Detail
The Library will remain closed on all Government Holiday/other holidays. The timings and days of operation shall undergo changes as per the need of the College.

Note: Additional two books is issued to those students who secure a CGPA 8.5 and above. The HOD can recommend the list to the library through the Principal.
Members are responsible for all the books borrowed on their cards.
All final year student members should get a “No Dues Certificate” from the Library.
Similarly, the staff members who intend to leave the Institution should settle all the dues including the ID cards and obtain a No Dues Certificate (NOC) from the Librarian.
Loss of ID cards should be reported immediately to the library so as to block the account.

: 6 books issued to students under Reserved Category – 180 days
Members, before leaving the counter, must check whether the books they intend to borrow are in good condition; any damage/marking should be immediately reported to the Librarian failing which the member to whom the book was issued will be held responsible.
Books that are in special demand shall be lent for shorter periods as may be necessary, and books lent may be recalled any time, if required.
Absence will not be accepted as an excuse for the delay in the return/renewal of books.
Encyclopedias, Hand Books, Dictionaries, and Back Volumes will not be issued and it is only for reference.
Members are advised to return/renew the books on or before the due date marked on the book, failing which a overdue charges will be collected.
Loss of books should be informed to librarian immediately.
Lost books can be replaced by the user with new edition if the same edition not available with overdue fine.
If Lost Books can’t able purchase by Borrower and have to pay five times of the book cost + overdue fine for lost books.
Students/staff shall scan their ID card in the E Gate Register scanner while entering and leaving the library.
The library users shall possess their ID card while they are inside the library.
Strict silence shall be maintained in the library.
The users of the library should wear formal dress.
Personal belongings like files, folders, bags, jerkins, umbrella, issued books etc are not allowed inside the library. They should be kept on the rack provided at the entrance of the library.
For the benefit of its users, library is following the Open Access System. The books, current journals, back volumes taken out the racks shall not be replaced. They should be left only on the tables. Well trained Library assistants are there to replace them in the proper places.
Students/Staff should take care of the books without causing damage of any kind like folding or underlining with a pen or pencil or tearing of pages.
The librarian reserves the right to cancel the membership of any member found misbehaving, abusing the library staff or behaving in an indecent manner.
The library is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings brought by users.
The library staff reserves the right to request users to leave the premises if they are dressed inappropriately or causing a disturbance.
The visitors should bring original Identity Card.
The visitors are allowed on recommendation with authorized letter and sister institutions students/staff are allowed.
Food items are not permitted.
Capturing photos and videos is prohibited inside the library.
Students are required to get No Dues from the library for getting the Transfer Certificate etc.
Staff members are required to get No Dues while relieving their job.
Slab book is maintained for getting feedback from the visitors and student alumni.
Reprographic facilities are available inside the library with minimum charges.
