The Department of Information Technology and Computer Society if India(CSI), Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, jointly organize a one-day hands-on workshop titled “AI FORGE” on 28 August 2026 at the BYOD Lab, IT Block, SREC.
The workshop is designed to provide students with practical exposure to the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The programme focuses on bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications through hands-on learning, live coding sessions, and industry-oriented demonstrations.
Understand the fundamentals of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and LLMs.
Learn effective Prompt Engineering and token optimization techniques.
Develop AI applications using Python and LLM APIs.
Understand Embeddings, Semantic Search, Vector Databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
